Nursery school children, primary school children.


A. l' erbolario (herbs shop), herbs, seeds, fruit and vegetables harvesting to fill the granny’s basket

B. Playing with flowers and plants : the children will visit the farm and collect leaves, flowers, herbs with which they’ll learn to play our grandparents’ games

C. Role Play : the children will get in contact with nature and they’ll play different jobs: the farmer, the farm-wife, the artist, the scientist, …

D. Sofia’s biscuits : Kneading the paste; the children will mix flour, eggs, butter, sugar and they’ ll make biscuits to be baked and brought home

Last classes of the Primary school and Scuola Media (First three classes of Secondary School)

E. life in a drop of water : the children will visit the farm and will take water from the pond, which they’ll view through a microscope and they’ll discover how rich life is in a “drop of water”

F. Playing with English : while the children are visiting the farm, they’ ll produce simple dialogues and they’ll play with the colours, the numbers, the adjectives and so on

Lodging: in bungalows, max 24 students and two teachers
Leisure activities: kayaking, rowing, beach volley, swimming, bikes
Excursions: to the natural reserves and oasis of the area, on Matilde’s tracks

Period of guided visits: From April to June and from September to November
On Tuesdays – Wednesdays and Thursdays

Number of guided visit hours (full day): 6.
